Document Controller – Dike Projects

For this role, we are looking for a candidate that is based in Jordan. This is a hard requirement.

We are seeking a Document Controller to support the Dikes Project. This role involves managing project documentation, ensuring version control, and maintaining accurate records across all phases of the project. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the project team by ensuring that all documentation is organised, accessible, and compliant with internal and client standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain project documentation, including drawings, reports, correspondence, and contracts
• Ensure proper version control and document tracking across all project phases
• Coordinate document flow between internal teams, contractors, and clients
• Maintain structured digital and physical archives in accordance with project protocols
• Support audits and reporting by providing timely access to required documentation
• Ensure compliance with document control procedures and standards

Working Hours: Six days per week (Friday off), with compensation aligned to workload and responsibilities.

Haskoning is engaged in the Dikes Project, which involves critical infrastructure works requiring structured and reliable document management. The Document Controller will be responsible for coordinating the flow of documents between stakeholders, maintaining structured archives, and supporting reporting and compliance efforts.

Location: Dead Sea Area, Jordan.

Duration: Initial contract for 6 months, with potential for extension based on project needs and mutual agreement.

• A minimum of 3 years' experience in document control within engineering or infrastructure projects
• Familiarity with document management systems and platforms (e.g. SharePoint, Aconex, or similar)
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to manage multiple document streams and prioritise effectively

• Good communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with multidisciplinary teams

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic understanding of technical documentation formats
