You work in partnership with customers to define and execute winning growth strategy for both Mondelez International and the customer.
You lead a team of Account managers and field sales representatives/managers to ensure execution of the sales strategy and achievement of annual KPIs and targets.
How you will contribute
You will:
- Develop and implement sales strategies, sales targets, and distribution plans for the modern trade channel.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail partners, acting as the main contact for contracts, pricing, and terms.
- Manage, develop and motivate the team to ensure product availability, optimal shelf placement (visibility), and successful execution of in-store promotions and brand activations.
- Recruit, train, motivate, and guide a sales team (including merchandisers) to achieve KPIs and targets, build development plans for then channel in collaboration with sales capability.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and sales data to identify growth opportunities and adjust plans.
- Lead a winning customer business relationships that facilitate "best in industry" execution of our categories.
- Work closely with key stakeholders including marketing, trade marketing team, sales capability, logistics and finance to align goals and ensure smooth operations.
- Lead cross functional customer team to ensure a perfect execution of all agreed joint business plans.

- Autonomy is required for the position to own the overall Modern Trade strategy.
What extra ingredients you will bring:
- Extensive sales experience in FMCG/CPG, specifically within hypermarkets, supermarkets, or cash & carry channels.
- Ability to define a clear vision and strategy and transformational leadership to drive change.
- Strong communication skills, influencing, negotiation and executive presence.
Education / Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
Job specific requirements:
- Minimum of 12 years in sales /channel leadership in Modern Trade/FMCG.
- Experience in confectionery or food industry is highly desirable.
- Proven modern trade and key account management experience.
- Strong financial, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Entrepreneurial, and ready to build from ground up.
Travel requirements:
- Strong filed presence with customers centrally and frequent trade visits in different regions to meet regional teams at customer level and MDLZ.
- Mobility is required.
