Founded in 2002 by Hicham Daoudi, CMOOA - Compagnie Marocaine des Œuvres et Objets d'Art is the first auction house in Morocco and one of the leading auction houses in the MENA region. Based in Casablanca, Morocco, CMOOA operates worldwide, including North Africa, the Middle East, the Americas and Europe. CMOOA specialises in Moroccan and Arab modern and contemporary art, spanning various categories of art and collectibles. Recognised and trusted by private collectors and institutions for its expertise, CMOOA offers a full range of services including live auctions of fine selection, bespoke private sales, valuations, inventories, inheritances, art consultancy and acquisition advice. CMOOA serves individuals, corporations, museums, foundations and institutions worldwide. CMOOA Private Sales provides a seamless service for the buying and selling of art throughout the year, outside the auction calendar, based on the client's needs and at their own pace. CMOOA is actively involved in the preservation of artistic heritage thanks to a team of experts and several thousand archives. CMOOA has become a point of reference for those interested in Moroccan and Arab art. CMOOA has organised more than 80 events, including several charity auctions. Since then, CMOOA has achieved many important world record prices, including Chaïbia Tallal, Hassan El Glaoui, Mohamed Melehi, Mohammed Kacimi, Farid Belkahia, Jilali Gharbaoui and Ahmed Cherkaoui. Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Project Specialist located in Casablanca. The Project Specialist will be responsible for coordinating, monitoring and managing projects related to the auction house's activities and will actively participate in organising events, preparing catalogues, administrative follow-up and documentary research.
Qualifications
- Project monitoring and coordination skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Research and analytical skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a team
- Strong organizational and leadership abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience in the art and gallery industry is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field
- Personal qualities: autonomy, multi-skilled, adaptable and proactive
