Mission:

Drive standard TPM execution, support breakdown for faster recovery and regional analysis of maintenance data in order to lower plant cost and optimize the equipment availability

  • Increase technical know-how in maintenance activities, including hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical system diagnostic, overhaul and repair.
  • Deploy the maintenance plans in accordance with Industrial Division instructions, as well as suppliers' instructions.
  • Animate expertise networks and best practice sharing activity between Europe sites.
  • Share best practices with PO global networks.
  • Assess the maintenance needs in Europe sites and make recommendations for preventive maintenance actions or retrofits.
  • Support Europe plants in achieving their equipment efficiency targets.
  • Optimize the spare parts strategy for the Europe plants. Review the spare parts inventory targets in accordance with global guidelines, supplier strategy and plant specific context.
  • Develop and maintain a spare parts database system for Europe.
  • Active supports for plants in Digital Manufacturing deployment and Top Worst recovery plan
  • Safety: Act as an example in applying all safety rules, with a specific focus on LOTO implementation (Lock-out, Tag-out). Be expert in LOTO deployment including BMMs
  • Link with other function managers in order to ensure the efficiency of team, find the issues and define the action plan for each blocking points
  • Respect internal quality standard, internal procedures  and control documentation
  • Respect internal deliverables link to his/her function and customers
  • Understand maintenance impact to final customer satisfaction
  • Use problem solving tools and capitalize on LL
  • Support and deploy TOP planet energy saving initiatives

Promote Predictive maintenance solution in cooperation with manufacturing  (Digital Manufacturing teams)

Personal Background

  • Strong technical knowledge in hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical equipment. Detailed machine construction knowledge.
  • Ability to share technical know-how as it relates to hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical system maintenance activities
  • Understands automation and machine safety systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess industrial equipment status, develop a maintenance plan and drive its execution
  • Ability to motivate people: especially in non-direct reporting relationships

Job Technical skills

  • Technical Degree in Electro-Mechanical field. Including hydraulic and pneumatic expertise. Automation is a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years of operational experience with medium to heavy equipment in production environment.
  • Computer proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Plastic processing experience is a plus
  • Autonomous, self-organized
  • Fluent in English
  • Frequent travel required in the Europe region
