Lead the Commercial Strategy – Director of Sales & Marketing
Taghazout Bay Marriott Resort | Opening 2026
We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Director of Sales & Marketing to join the pre-opening executive team of the Taghazout Bay Marriott Resort, a new resort opening in 2026 on Morocco's breathtaking Atlantic coast.
As the Director of Sales and Marketing of the property, you will be responsible for driving revenue through strategic sales initiatives, innovative marketing campaigns, and strong customer relationships. This role offers a rare opportunity to shape the market positioning and commercial success of a flagship resort from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all proactive and reactive sales efforts across group, transient, and catering segments
- Develop and execute property-specific marketing strategies and campaigns
- Build long-term, value-based relationships with key clients and partners
- Manage the marketing budget and oversee brand-aligned promotional activities
- Collaborate with regional sales and marketing teams to maximize demand generation
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy and drive performance
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field
- Minimum of 2–4 years' experience in hotel sales and marketing leadership
- Proven success in managing large-scale bookings and catering revenue
- Fluency in English and French is required
- Strong understanding of Moroccan market dynamics
- Experience in hotel pre-openings or new property launches is highly desirable
