Join us and take your career to the next levelThe Sales Back Office Trainee will be a key pillar of our commercial operations in North & West Africa. You will act as the bridge between the field sales team, the customer, and our internal logistics/finance departments. Your mission is to ensure that every sales opportunity is managed with precision, from the initial offer and complex tender submission to the final delivery and payment collection.
This is a one-year trainee program designed for a high-potential graduate looking to start a career in the industrial and port sector.
What are your key responsibilities:- Sales Support & CRM: Maintain and update the CRM pipeline, ensuring all opportunities are accurately tracked.
- Offer Preparation: Coordinate with the technical and pricing teams to prepare commercial offers and quotations.
- Tender Management: Lead the administrative preparation of public and private tenders, ensuring all legal and technical documentation meets the required standards.
- Order Management: Process orders once deals are closed, coordinating with global factories for production slots.
- Logistics & Delivery: Follow up on shipping schedules, import/export documentation, and delivery timelines to the client's site.
- Financial Follow-up: Monitor the invoicing process and support the Sales Manager in ensuring timely payment collections.

What you bring to the role:- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: KALMAR is committed to help you gain experience in the sector.
- Languages: Full professional proficiency in English and French is mandatory.
- Skills: Strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel, and a proactive attitude.
- Mindset: Eagerness to learn, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a multicultural environment.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional organizational skills, detail-oriented, ability to work under pressure (tenders' deadlines), and a proactive "problem-solver" mindset.
