About the Role:
Reporting to the Help Desk Manager, you will provide IT assistance and support to users across the group, both over the phone and by email.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to user requests via phone or email
- Record and track requests in the ticketing system
- Diagnose and resolve technical incidents
- Document all steps from diagnosis to resolution in the ticketing tool
- Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate support team
- Follow up on escalated requests
- Research and apply solutions to non-referenced problems
- Create new instructions or operating procedures as needed
- Assist users with hardware and/or software installations
- Ensure effective communication and follow-up across support levels
- Help identify major system malfunctions
- Alert your manager to any issues or recurring problems
About You:
- Bachelor's degree or higher (minimum BAC+3) in IT or a related field
- Proven experience in a Help Desk or similar technical support role
- Strong logical thinking and organizational skills
- Fluent in Dutch and French, both written and spoken; English proficiency is a plus
- Proficient with incident diagnosis and ticketing systems
- Solid knowledge of the Windows environment and Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiar with network technologies and remote support tools
