Role Purpose
Responsible for identifying, sourcing, tracking, and supporting tender opportunities relevant to the organization, ensuring timely submission and compliance with tender requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and source tender opportunities from government portals, e-procurement platforms, newspapers, and other relevant sources.
- Monitor tender portals regularly and circulate relevant tenders to internal stakeholders.
- Analyze tender documents to assess eligibility, scope, timelines, and requirements.
- Coordinate with internal teams (operations, finance, legal, technical) to gather required inputs and documents.
- Maintain a tender tracking database with status, deadlines, and outcomes.
- Ensure all tender-related documents are accurate, complete, and submitted within deadlines.
- Assist in preparation of pre-bid queries and attend pre-bid meetings if required.
- Maintain proper documentation and records for audit and reference purposes.
- Support post-submission follow-ups and clarifications with tendering authorities.
- Familiarity/ability to support the tender writing process with required inputs to ensure that the bids are complete from an RFP perspective. Ability to provide relevant data/information to create the competitive edge that the bid writing process would require to win the bid.
