Vehicle Functional Manager

The VFM is responsible for ensuring functional convergence at the vehicle level by consolidating inputs from various system teams.

  

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure consistency of functional validation plans with overall project objectives (e.g., homologation, captive fleets).

  • Consolidate functional synthesis for milestone evaluations.

  • Contribute to resource alignment across different technical disciplines.

  • Review "White Book" evaluations focusing on functional aspects.

  • Develop the QCTP in case arbitration is needed regarding functional convergence and priorities.

  • Validate the overall project validation plan.

  • Aggregate maturity statuses to build a comprehensive maturity scorecard.

  • Monitor the execution of the functional validation plan.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure robustness of safety-related deliverables and participate in safety evaluations and validations.

  • Assess the progress of functionalities against expected targets.

YOUR PROFILE:

  • Strong project management skills

  • Ability to communicate effectively and produce clear reporting

  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience in product development and engineering processes

  • Solid understanding of functional scope and system integration

  • Minimum of 8 years in a similar role or comparable technical environment
