Key Responsibilities:
- Performs Production Engineering functional activities as directed by the relevant Production engineering superior.
- Responsible for the implementation of Production Engineering activities
- Provides regular reports to his/her own superior(s)
- Supports in activities for development of new production equipment and processes
- Provides support in escalation topics from projects / production / quality complaints
- Implements lessons learned, best practice and actively shares the information within the Engineering network
- Supports in the development, optimization and implementation of production engineering processes
- Supports in the definition of the layout of the workstations (in terms of material and methods) according to released standards and process flow the implementation of the production concept
- Supports in the integration of new processes in plant
- Supports in the definition of the production flow for the process steps
- Supports in the implementation of best and standard workplace practices
- Supports in the inventory process - Creates documentation for production support (e.g. list for stock takes, prepares specific documents for production of samples & aftermarket etc.)
- Creates, modifies and maintains all methods of manufacture (work instructions, visual aids etc.) & ensures machine / operator instructions are present and up to date
- Leads and supports DFM activities and workshops.
- Supervises and controls edited work documents within the shop floor (work instructions, visualization)
- Identifies new material configurations (e.g. terminal wire Combinations, splice combinations, twist combinations etc.) & support the validation activities
- Responsible for identifying required hand tools, de-blocking tools etc. and the subsequent release to production.
- Support in the validation & release of production equipment including -but not limited to- assembly boards, Jigs, test tables & workplace.
- Coordinates the first harness release process (Provides support for 1st off manufacture & submission to Quality)

Your Profile:
- High School diploma with technical background or equivalent years of experience.
- Excellent knowledge of using hand-held tools.
- Can deal with different types of machines.
- Mechanical background.
- Creative thinking skills

- Excellent manual dexterity
- Flexible
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment and perform complex system tests.
