About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated
Production Leader
to join our new
greenfield
project in Morocco within the
locomotive rolling stock
industry. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a major industrial investment, contributing from the ground up to the launch and ramp-up of a modern manufacturing facility.

The successful candidate will play a key role in building and leading the production team, setting up operational processes, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, efficient production from day one.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Active participation in the greenfield setup phase – from layout planning to equipment installation and team formation
  • Lead and supervise daily production operations in line with project timelines and quality expectations
  • Build, train, and develop a high-performing production team
  • Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and efficiency standards across all operations
  • Implement and promote Lean Manufacturing practices and continuous improvement culture
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments (Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, Supply Chain)
  • Monitor production KPIs and drive actions to meet operational targets
  • Support industrialization and process optimization initiatives specific to railway rolling stock production

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a production leadership role within a manufacturing environment
  • Prior involvement in greenfield projects or new plant/line launches is highly desirable
  • Industry background in
    locomotive, railway, or heavy industrial equipment manufacturing
    is a strong advantage
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement methods
  • Proven leadership and team-building capabilities
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written); French and/or Arabic would be a plus
  • Willingness to relocate to Morocco (relocation support provided)
