Head of Fashion Designer

Location: United Arab Emirates

Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role

We are seeking a visionary and experienced Head of Fashion Designer to lead our creative direction and oversee the entire design department. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in contemporary fashion and a proven track record with internationally recognized brands such as Zara, Massimo Dutti, Max Mara, Carolina Herrera, Liu Jo, or COS.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire the fashion design team to develop innovative collections aligned with the brand's creative and commercial vision.
  • Oversee all stages of the design process, from concept development to final product execution.
  • Conduct seasonal trend research, fabric selection, and color palette development.
  • Collaborate with merchandising, production, and marketing teams to ensure cohesive brand identity and product quality.
  • Mentor and guide designers to foster creativity, innovation, and growth within the team.
  • Ensure collections are competitive in terms of design, quality, and pricing while maintaining the brand's aesthetic.
  • Present seasonal collections to senior management and key stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Fashion Design or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in fashion design, including at least 3–5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience with premium or fast-fashion brands (Zara, Massimo Dutti, Max Mara, Carolina Herrera, Liu Jo, COS, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of global fashion trends, fabrics, and garment construction.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Creative thinker with strong aesthetic sensibility and business acumen.
