Operations Manager (Remote – Morocco Based)
Full-Time | U.S. Logistics Company
We're hiring an experienced Operations Manager to help run and organize the day-to-day execution of a growing U.S. transportation company.
This is not an assistant job.
We need someone who takes ownership, builds systems, and makes sure things actually get done without the CEO having to chase people all day.
If you need step-by-step instructions, this role won't be a good fit.
If you naturally take initiative and fix problems on your own, you'll do very well here.
What You'll Be Responsible For
- Build simple SOPs and processes so work runs smoothly
- Organize tasks, priorities, and projects across the company
- Manage freelancers and remote team members
- Follow up constantly until work is finished (no loose ends)
- Track deadlines and hold people accountable
- Create basic reports so leadership knows what's going on
- Spot problems early and fix anything slowing the team down
- Handle issues independently without waiting for permission
Your job is straightforward:
Bring order and structure so the business runs cleanly without daily supervision.
Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
- 3+ years in operations or project management
- Experience handling multiple projects at the same time
- Very organized and detail-focused
- Strong ownership mindset (you finish what you start)
- Proactive communicator
- Professional English (written and spoken)
- Comfortable working independently without hand-holding
Nice to Have
- Experience managing remote teams
- Experience with ClickUp, Asana, Airtable, Excel, Google Workspace
- Logistics or transportation experience
This Role Is NOT
- Not a virtual assistant
- Not task-only work
- Not a "wait for instructions" position
We're hiring someone who thinks like an operator, not a helper.
Compensation
- Starting salary with performance-based increases
- Pay grows based on results and ownership, not time served
- As you prove yourself, you'll take on more responsibility and leadership

- Your target salary after 6–12 months if performance is strong
