The Role
The Digital Adoption Manager is a collaborator of the entity Digital Mindset & Skillsets, (DMS), within the Digital Ecosystem Office (DEO).
This role will support the acceleration of digital adoption across the UM6P community.
This role focuses on coordinating and implementing digital adoption initiatives, engaging users, fostering engagement, and promoting a digital culture.
The Manager plays a key role connecting and engaging digital communities across UM6P, ensuring alignment between faculties, staff and departments, and the Digital Ecosystem Office mission.
The Digital Adoption Manager will act as a link between people and technology, and help ensure that digital solutions are effectively adopted, understood, and integrated into daily work.
The candidate combines strong project management skills, user-centric thinking, and a solid understanding of digital transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and implement digital adoption initiatives across UM6P.
- Promote the use of digital tools through communication campaigns, storytelling, and content creation (videos, posts, infographics, etc.).
- Connect, engage, and animate digital user communities to foster collaboration, feedback, and shared learning.
- Develop and manage DMS internal communication content (social media, newsletters, intranet) to highlight tools, best practices, and success stories.
- Support the design and delivery of training sessions, onboarding programs, and awareness workshops related to digital and adoption.
- Gather and analyze user feedback to identify adoption barriers and improvement opportunities.
- Create and maintain user documentation, FAQs, and learning materials to support adoption and autonomy.
- Monitor adoption and engagement metrics and contribute to progress reporting.
- Promote a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the UM6P community.
Required Skills and Experience
- Education: Master's degree (Bac +5) in Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
- Experience: 3–5 years of experience in digital transformation, digital project management, or digital adoption.
- Professional experience in digital project management is required, as it enables effective collaboration between the DMS entity and other DEO entities.
- Proven experience in digital communication or community management
- Strong ability to create engaging and accessible content across various media (social networks, newsletters, video, etc.).
- Excellent communication, presentation, oral and written communication skills.
- Solid understanding of digital tools, platforms, and user experience principles.
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
- Creative, proactive, and adaptable, with a genuine interest in digital culture and adoption.
- Fluency in English and French (oral and written).
