The Digital Mindset Advocacy Lead is a key role within the Digital Ecosystem Office, reporting to the head of Customer Success and Digital Mindset. The mission of this role is to promote the adoption of a digital mindset across the UM6P community, fostering a culture of continuous learning and adaptation to new digital tools and technologies. Additionally, this role encourages experimentation and innovation in the use of digital solutions.


Key Responsibilities
Digital Mindset Advocacy
  • Develop and execute strategies to promote the adoption of a digital mindset across UM6P communities, including students, faculty, staff, and other stakeholders.
  • Create and deliver compelling communications, presentations, and campaigns that highlight the benefits and opportunities of digital transformation.
  • Engage with various stakeholders to understand their needs, concerns, and barriers to digital adoption, and develop targeted advocacy initiatives to address them.
  • Collaborate with the Customer Success Lead to align digital mindset advocacy efforts with customer needs and feedback.
Experience Design and Feedback Loops
  • Identify and prioritize key areas for digital mindset transformation across the university, in collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement change management plans to support the adoption of digital tools, practices, and workflows.
  • Design and deliver training, workshops, and resources to build digital skills, data literacy among UM6P communities.
  • Monitor and assess the effectiveness of change management and adoption

acceleration initiatives, and continuously refine approaches based on feedback and results.

Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the university, including academic departments, administrative units, and student organizations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Digital Products and Platforms, Digital Technologies and Operations, and Customer Success, to ensure alignment and synergy in digital mindset advocacy efforts.
  • Engage with external partners, such as industry experts, technology providers, and

peer institutions, to stay informed about best practices and emerging trends in digital mindset advocacy.


Innovation and Experimentation
  • Foster a culture of innovation and experimentation within UM6P communities, encouraging stakeholders to embrace new digital tools, practices, and approaches.
  • Identify and promote opportunities for digital innovation and experimentation across the university, in collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Establish and manage innovation labs, hackathons, and other initiatives that enable

stakeholders to explore and test new digital solutions and ideas.

  • Celebrate and showcase successful digital innovations and experiments, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Performance Metrics and Reporting
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to digital mindset adoption, change management effectiveness, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor and communicate the impact of digital mindset advocacy initiatives.
  • Regularly report on digital mindset advocacy metrics, insights, and trends to the department head and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Use data-driven insights to continuously optimize and improve digital mindset advocacy strategies and tactics.
Required Skills and Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in digital transformation, change management, or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of digital technologies, platforms, and trends, particularly in the higher education sector.
  • Proven track record of driving digital adoption and mindset change in complex organizations.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills, with the ability to inspire and influence diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to lead multiple digital mindset advocacy initiatives simultaneously.
  • Experience in designing and delivering training, workshops, and resources related to digital skills and practices.
  • Familiarity with innovation and experimentation methodologies, such as design thinking and lean startup.
  • Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Master's or Engineering's degree in a relevant field, such as Business, Communications, or Education. Advanced degree is a plus.
