Portfolio Manager – Chief Operating Office (B2B Strategy & Governance)
Department: Chief Operating Office – B2B
Reports to: Head of COO / Strategic Programs
About the Role
As a member of the cross-functional Chief Operating Office team, you will manage a strategic B2B portfolio covering the entire Customer Journey — from quotation to billing.
Your mission is twofold:
Ensure robust portfolio governance, and
Drive value creation and strategic alignment with Orange Group's priorities.
You will act as a key enabler between business, finance, and delivery teams, ensuring that B2B initiatives deliver measurable impact and operational excellence.
Main Responsibilities
Portfolio Governance
Lead and coordinate governance forums and steering committees (weekly reviews, inter-portfolio meetings, strategic reviews).
Monitor and consolidate budget performance in coordination with financial control teams.
Maintain an accurate and up-to-date project repository, ensuring data quality and traceability.
Animate and engage the portfolio management community, promoting best practices and knowledge sharing.
Value Creation & Strategic Alignment
Track and report project contributions to Group strategic priorities and business outcomes.
Support the prioritization of B2B initiatives, ensuring alignment with capacity and strategic objectives.
Assess and optimize customer journey impacts across the B2B lifecycle.
Promote agile methodologies, continuous improvement, and a value-driven culture across projects and teams.
Profile & Skills
Qualifications
Master's degree in Business Administration, Strategy, Project Management, or equivalent.
5+ years of experience in portfolio management, program governance, or strategic operations.
Experience in a telecommunications or B2B service environment is a strong asset.
Key Skills
Solid understanding of project and portfolio management frameworks (PMO, Agile, Lean).
Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
Proficiency in budget monitoring, data analysis, and performance reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Excel, Jira).
Fluent in English and French
