As part of Alsayegh Worldwide's global expansion plan, we are proud to announce the opening of our new office in Morocco, a strategic hub that will serve the Moroccan market while also supporting our growing footprint across Africa and Europe.

We are looking for a Social Media Director to lead our social media function, build a high performing team, and drive bold and strategic social storytelling across platforms. This role is for a leader who understands how to build brands, create culture shaping content, and deliver measurable results through organic and paid social.

Role Overview:

The Social Media Director will be a key leadership role in our newly established Morocco office and will report directly to the CEO or Managing Director in Morocco. You will lead the social media department end to end and collaborate closely with creative, digital, media, strategy, and account teams across our global network.

Key Responsibilities:


• Lead the social media strategy for key clients across Morocco Africa and Europe


• Oversee content direction planning and campaign execution across all social media platforms


• Build recruit and manage a high performing social media team including content creators community managers and strategists


• Ensure brand consistency and strong storytelling across content pillars and always on content


• Lead creative social campaign ideation and ensure content drives both engagement and business objectives


• Oversee influencer strategy and creator partnerships ensuring relevance and impact


• Work closely with creative and production teams to create high quality content including video short form and live content


• Monitor trends cultural moments and platform updates to keep brands ahead of the curve


• Lead paid social coordination and ensure alignment with media teams for performance optimization


• Own performance reporting dashboards insights and improvement recommendations


• Present strategies and content plans to clients with strong storytelling and confidence


• Ensure the team delivers under pressure with clear planning and structured workflows

What We're Looking For:


• Proven experience as a Social Media Director or senior social leadership role in an agency or major brand


• Strong knowledge of the Moroccan market and cultural landscape


• Deep understanding of social platforms and content formats including Instagram TikTok X LinkedIn Snapchat and YouTube


• Proven ability to grow communities and deliver strong engagement outcomes


• Strong leadership experience managing teams and delivering high volumes of content


• Strong understanding of integrated marketing solutions and how social connects with PR media and creative


• Strong organization and ability to manage multiple accounts and fast turnaround timelines


• Strong presentation and client management skills


• Understanding of digital tools analytics social listening and reporting


• Knowledge and curiosity around new creative tools especially AI content tools and automation
