As part of Alsayegh Worldwide's global expansion plan, we are proud to announce the opening of our new office in Morocco, a strategic hub that will serve the Moroccan market while also supporting our growing footprint across Africa and Europe.
We are looking for an experienced Events Director to lead the planning, execution, and growth of our events and experiential business. This role requires a senior leader with strong operational excellence, client leadership, and the ability to manage large scale event delivery with premium standards.
Role Overview:
The Events Director will be a key leadership role in our newly established Morocco office and will report directly to the CEO or Managing Director in Morocco. You will lead the events department and work closely with strategy, creative, production, procurement, finance, and account management teams across our global network.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and oversee end to end delivery of major events including exhibitions conferences VIP ceremonies festivals corporate events and experiential activations
• Own event operations planning timelines and delivery standards across multiple projects
• Manage event budgets procurement and supplier relationships to ensure quality cost control and profitability
• Lead event client relationships and ensure strong communication throughout the entire process
• Build recruit and develop the events team including production project managers operations and logistics
• Ensure all event deliverables meet premium standards in guest experience staging branding and production quality
• Manage complex events with multiple stakeholders government entities and high profile partners
• Ensure compliance with permits health and safety and local regulations
• Work closely with creative teams to ensure concepts are delivered without compromising experience quality
• Identify growth opportunities and contribute to business development and proposal development
• Support pitch work and lead the operational planning sections for major RFPs and proposals
What We're Looking For:
• Proven experience as an Events Director or senior event leadership role in a major agency or large scale events organization
• Strong knowledge of the Moroccan market and supplier landscape
• Proven ability to deliver large and complex projects with high standards
• Strong leadership skills with ability to manage teams under pressure
• Strong stakeholder and client management skills especially with senior leadership and VIP requirements
• Strong financial and commercial understanding including budgeting cost control and profitability
• Highly organized with structured approach and excellent attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver on tight timelines
• Proactive solution focused mindset with ability to anticipate challenges and resolve quickly
• Strong presentation and communication skills
