Planning Supervisor – Automotive brownfield/greenfield plant

Role Purpose:

As Planning Supervisor for our new brownfield/greenfield plant in Kenitra, you will play an important role in establishing and leading the production planning and control function. You will be responsible for building robust planning processes, aligning production with customer demand, and ensuring smooth, efficient material and information flows across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate customer demand variations with production, Sales Dept. and materials planning
  • Monitor the production schedule to ensure adherence to the plan and take immediate action in case of delays or obstacles.
  • To make sure 100% OTD (On Time Delivery), report issues in advance.
  • Set and manage daily, weekly, and monthly production planning targets
  • Supervise planners and ensure ERP planning data is accurate and up to date
  • Guarantee the preparation, Lead meeting and the communication of MPS Report and Planning KPI.
  • Resolve bottlenecks, material shortages, and lead-time issues
  • Analyze Stock Coverage, capacity utilization and production constraints.
  • Lead planning efforts for production transfers, calendar changes, and pick-up point adjustments
  • Train and develop planners, manage schedules, and ensure planning team readiness
  • Drive continuous improvement in planning accuracy, efficiency, and cost reduction

Your Profile:

  • Master's + Engineering degree in Logistics, Engineering, Business, or related field
  • 3/4+ years of experience in managing production/material planning in automotive industry, preferably in a wiring harness industry
  • Experience working with international OEMs
  • Experience with greenfield or brownfield project(s).
  • ERP expertise (planning modules, capacity/resource planning)
  • Strong leadership, planning, and communication skills with a hands-on, proactive approach
  • Strong analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Well-organized and reliable, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing project requirements.
  • Familiarity with IATF/IRIS and Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Fluent in English, Arabic and French
