Receptionist

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Act as the first point of contact at the school reception, welcoming parents, visitors, and students in a professional and friendly manner.
• Answer and direct incoming calls, emails, and general inquiries efficiently.
• Provide administrative support to the Head of Section, including scheduling meetings, preparing documents, and maintaining records.
• Assist in the coordination and organization of school events, meetings, and communication with parents.
• Maintain accurate student and staff records, attendance logs, and other confidential information.
• Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the section by coordinating with teachers, assistants, and administrative staff.
• Support new staff onboarding and student admissions in collaboration with the section head.
• Manage and update internal systems, databases, and communication platforms as needed.
• Handle urgent or unexpected situations calmly and efficiently, escalating issues when necessary.
• Uphold the school's values and ensure a welcoming and supportive environment for all community members.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
Educational Background:

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Administration, Education, Communication, or a related field.

Experience:

• At least 2 years of experience in a school environment or in a similar administrative or receptionist role.
• Previous experience supporting leadership or working in a multicultural educational setting is a strong advantage.

Skills & Competencies:

• Excellent communication skills in English and French (Arabic is an asset).
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and school management systems.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality, handle sensitive information discreetly.
• Problem-solving attitude and capacity to work under pressure.
