Freelance Architect or Civil Engineer for Industrial Construction Project in Kenitra, Morocco

MPS ARCHONIC GmbH is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Freelance Architect or Civil Engineer to support our team on an exciting industrial construction project in Kenitra, Morocco (near Rabat). This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of a prestigious international project with room for professional input and development within a collaborative and appreciative corporate culture.

Tasks

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the tender process and collaborate with the planning team.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for our German client.
  • Ensure regular on-site presence in Kenitra to supervise construction progress.
  • Monitor quality standards, conduct sampling procedures, and ensure compliance.
  • Organize and lead weekly project coordination meetings (Jour Fixe).
  • Manage invoice verification, cost monitoring, and additional cost controls.
  • Oversee schedule tracking and ensure project milestones are met.
  • Maintain comprehensive site documentation for reporting purposes.
  • Coordinate and participate in acceptance processes with all stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering.
  • Relevant experience in industrial construction is a strong asset.
  • Passion for site supervision and construction management.
  • Independent working style with strong responsibility and assertiveness.
  • Willingness to be on-site in Morocco for the project duration.
  • Fluent French is essential for project communication on site.
    German and/or English skills are required for internal coordination and client communication.
  • Competent in standard Office tools and ideally in AutoCAD or similar.
  • Valid driver's license.
