Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy & Planning:
    Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy focused on sustainable financial gain and customer satisfaction.
  • Market Research:
    Conduct in-depth market research to identify new markets, industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
  • Lead Generation:
    Proactively identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities and prospective clients through networking, cold calling, and other channels.
  • Relationship Management:
    Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with prospective and existing clients, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Sales & Negotiation:
    Arrange and lead business meetings, create compelling sales presentations, develop quotes and proposals, and negotiate and close deals, including contract negotiations.
  • Collaboration:
    Liaise with internal teams (e.g., Finance, Operations, Marketing & Activations) to align strategies, develop effective campaigns, and ensure client needs are met with appropriate solutions.
  • Reporting:
    Track sales pipeline, revenue, and metrics, preparing regular reports and forecasts for senior management.

Qualifications

  • Experience:
    Proven working experience (typically 3+ years) as a Business Development Manager, Sales Executive, or other relevant sales/marketing role.
  • Education:
    Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • Track Record:
    Proven sales track record with demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Market Knowledge:
    Strong understanding of market dynamics, industry trends, and competitor activities in the retail services & FMCG sector.
  • Technical Skills:
    Proficiency in CRM softwares, MS Office Suite, etc.
