About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Specialist to join our team in Morocco. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end logistics operations, including import/export processes, customs clearance, LC documentation, coordination with suppliers, and ensuring smooth communication among sales, finance, and other internal teams. This role requires strong organizational skills, high accuracy, and a solid understanding of regional and international logistics practices.

Key Responsibilities1. Shipping & Clearance

  • Coordinate all import and export activities, including documentation, shipment tracking, and customs clearance.
  • Manage relationships with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and transportation providers.
  • Ensure compliance with Moroccan customs laws, port regulations, and company policies.
  • Prepare and verify shipping documents (BL, COO, Invoice, Packing List, AWB, etc.).

2. Logistics Coordination

  • Monitor daily shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve delays or issues immediately.
  • Communicate with suppliers, warehouses, and internal teams to follow up on shipment statuses.
  • Ensure proper storage, handling, and inventory control of goods in local warehouses.
  • Support the sales team with delivery scheduling and customer delivery requirements.

3. LC (Letter of Credit) & Documentation

  • Prepare, review, and manage all LC-related documents in coordination with banks and suppliers.
  • Ensure full compliance with LC terms to avoid discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with the finance team for timely payment releases and documentation accuracy.

4. Internal Coordination

  • Work closely with the sales team on delivery schedules, order requirements, and customer follow-ups.
  • Coordinate with the finance department regarding payments, LC matters, and shipment costs.
  • Provide periodic logistics reports to management including shipment status, cost analysis, and clearance progress.

5. Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensure all logistics processes comply with company policies and local regulations.
  • Maintain clear records of all logistics operations and documentation.
  • Submit weekly and monthly logistics performance reports.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in logistics, shipping, or supply chain operations (preferably in heavy machinery, industrial equipment, or similar sectors).
  • Strong knowledge of import/export documentation, customs regulations, and LC procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and French; Arabic is an advantage.
  • Proficient in MS Office; experience with ERP systems is preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and strong organizational skills.
