The SYSTRA consortium, in partnership with Egis and Novec, has been selected to oversee the management of the high-speed rail infrastructure project in Morocco. This initiative forms part of Morocco's broader strategy to expand its high-speed rail network and upgrade its conventional lines, notably in anticipation of the 2030 FIFA World Cup.
About the role :
As part of the project management assistance contract for the construction of the high-speed rail line (LGV) between Kenitra and Marrakech, and capacity enhancement on the conventional line from Kenitra to Marrakech, the Planning Manager will lead the planning of this project.
This includes working in close collaboration with multiple internal and external stakeholders, including other manufacturing sites, cross-functional departments, product lines, Group Planning, Project Management, and regional teams
Responsibilites includes some of the following:
Developing and establishing the programme baseline, setting the foundation for successful project delivery. This will contribute to ensuring the "On Time Delivery" of the Customer contractual milestones for all Projects
Review and provide valuable input on the programmes developed by the client for each discipline, ensuring alignment and optimal performance.
Ensure time coherency between the different functions, axis (project management, development, programs, operations), layers (strategic, tactical, operational) for all recurrent and non-recurrent planning activities . Oversee and validate the interface programme, proactively identifying and resolving potential coordination challenges.
About you :
- Fluent in French. Graduated in Civil engineering with minimum 12 years experience working with Infrasttructure Projects (rail/ road) across positions such as Planning, Project Management or Production (Project- / Bid-Management, Development, Production), preferably in scheduling processes & tools
- Experienced management skills: results-driven personality and decision-maker. Solid listening and analytical with a know how to propose solutions, particularly in connection with interface management
- You are proficient in Primavera, MS Project, Tilos, and the MS Office suite and can use the basic functions of AUTOCAD.
